Surfing in Paradise
I've long been obssessed with both traditional japanese and americana illustration styles, and here I tried to blend them seamlessly. As a surfer, I also wanted to pay tribute to one of my favorite surfers, Andy Irons, and picture him as a samurai sharing this japanese-style wave with a flock of colorful swallows, sakuras, a beautiful lotus flower and a giant catfish
